SUMMARY:Dale Carnegie Workshop: Communicate with Different Personality Styles
DESCRIPTION:Dale Carnegie Workshop\n\n\n\nThis module helps people understand the four dominant personality styles: driver\, expresser\, \n\namiable\, and analytical. Knowing our styles is the most important element to help reach across \n\nbarriers and connect with others. We should identify our own strengths and weaknesses to take \n\ncontrol of our actions and feelings. Then we can focus on understanding others and use effective approaches to build collaboration.\n\n\n\nMany behavioral psychologists have researched the theory that people's behavior can be roughly \n\nclassified in four groups\, represented as quadrants. Each quadrant represents the behavioral styles \n\nof people in that group. No one is purely any style\, and no style is better or worse than another. \n\nEach tendency has strengths and weaknesses. By recognizing our dominant style and developing the ability to identify traits in others\, we can change our behaviors to interact with a wide variety of personalities and tendencies.\n\n\n\nLearning Objectives\n\n Identify your own personality style and how you react under pressure\n\n Modify your behaviors to be able to connect with people of different styles\n\n Influence attitudes and behaviors of others\n\n\n\nCertificates of completion will be granted to those who stay for the entirety of the workshop
