Instructor: Dr. Massiel Pérez-Calhoon, Manager of Community and Corporate Relations with Brandman University where she teaches both undergraduate and graduates for the School of Education and the School of Arts and Sciences. As the Manager of Community and Corporate Relations with Brandman University, she uses strategic leadership to guide community outreach efforts that build positive awareness of Brandman University’s academic programs. Dr. Pérez-Calhoon started with Brandman University in 2012. She holds a Masters in Teaching from UCI, studied abroad in Mexico City at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and completed her Doctorate at Brandman University. She holds a Single Subject Credential in Spanish and a Language Learner authorization: Bilingual, Cross-Cultural, Language & Academic Development certificate (BCLAD).Prior to this position Dr. Pérez-Calhoon taught K-12 including: first, fourth, and sixth through eighth grade.
