Export Compliance Training Program
6 Week Training Mondays (April 17 - May 22, 2017)
Export compliance practitioner’s course walks participants through all aspects of export compliance. This hands on workshop covers the nuts and bolts of exporting, including jurisdiction and classification, obtaining and managing authorizations, due diligence, technical information and the provision of services, choosing and using consultants and third parties, identifying and dealing with violations, and managing in house compliance.
Whether you are new to your role of dealing with export compliance at your company or need a refresher, this course will teach you the basics and keep you up to date on the latest in export compliance.
- Session 1: April 17 – Intro to Export Compliance
- Session 2: April 24 – Jurisdiction and Classification
- Session 3: May 1 – Due Diligence and Documentation
- Session 4: May 8 – Technical Data and the Provision of Services
- Session 5: May 15 – Anti-Boycott; OFAC; Consultants; Third Party Communications; Violations
- Session 6: May 22 – Compliance Programs and Audits

$795 Corporate (per person with a minimum of 4 people) $100 Students/Faculty/Veterans
*$500 Small business scholarship will be granted to qualified small business participants based on a letter from their International Trade Advisor (SBDC or CITD) or International Trade Specialist (US Commercial Service) indicating that they are either a current exporter or export ready and in need of this training.
